The FDJ Foundation welcomes a thousand young people from the Secours populaire français on the Tours de France 2024 men and women.

The FDJ Corporate Foundation and the Secours populaire français, with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), are renewing, for the seventeenth year, the “Les oubliés du sport” scheme which allows nearly a thousand young people to discover the Tour de France as well as the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift. These young people supported by the Secours populaire will also be able to learn BMX, during a fun and entertaining day dedicated to cycling.
The aim of this project, initiated by the FDJ Corporate Foundation and Secours populaire in 2018, is to promote access to leisure and sports activities for young people who do not necessarily have the chance to go on holiday and to introduce them to high-level cycling.
For the second year in a row, the “Forgotten people of sport” system will also be present on the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift, over four stages.
On the Tour de France, the operation is spread over ten stages. On each of them, a specific space will accommodate young people accompanied by Secours populaire, who will be able to watch the cyclists and the advertising caravan that precedes them pass by. Fun activities and educational workshops are also supervised by the association’s volunteers, such as learning how to repair a bicycle.

The ten stages of the Tour de France 2024:

July 6: Semur-en-Auxois > Colombey-les-deux-Églises
