Departure from Florence
After Copenhague et Bilbao in 2022 and 2023, make way for Florence in Italy to kick off the Great Loop. From the capital of Tuscany, the bikes will climb to the Col de Valico Tre Faggi (930m), the culmination of a first stage which will also see them ride the coast of Force (430m), Carnalo (760m), Barbotto (584m), San Leo (572m), Montemaggio (508m) and finally San Marino (648m) before arriving at Rimini to complete the 206 km of today’s stage.

The grand start of the Tour de France must be given at 12:40 p.m.while France Télévisions will go on air around 11:50 a.m. to raise the temperature before the fight for the yellow jersey begins. Eurosport will also broadcast the event.
