The conference by sociologist Fanny Charrasse is presented as the highlight of the fourth Fontaine-Daniel Meeting. It will revolve around the theme of his latest book, The Return of the Magical Worldat the Balcon building, Saturday June 29, 2024 from 5:30 p.m.
Other meetings are planned for Friday and Saturday in the village of Fontaine-Daniel (Mayenne), attached to the commune of Saint-Georges-Buttavent. A guided tour of the Bois-Salair monastery opens the Meeting, Friday at 2:30 p.m.

A friendly evening to end
The next day, Saturday, the monastery hosts a concert by a Franco-German vocal ensemble at 3 p.m. The seven singers will perform works by Monteverdi, Schütz and Dowland.
After Fanny Charrasse’s conference, a friendly evening is planned in front of the Balcon building. On the menu: minestrone soup, breads, cheeses and organic wines.
The Friends of Fontaine-Daniel announce that the next Fontaine-Daniel Meeting will take place on Saturday October 5, 2024.
