Online ticketing for the tour Eiffel is officially open for the period of Olympic and Paralympic Gamesof July 18 to August 11, 2024. Due to the expected crowds, a prior reservation will be essential to access this emblematic monument.

Reservation from July 18 to 25: Reinforced security perimeter

The week before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the Eiffel Tower is in a special protection zone set up by the Police Prefecture. To enter, you must present a proof of reservation. Two options are available to you:

  • Buy one e-ticket to access the floors.
  • Book a “ticket in pairs” free, allowing access to the checkouts for a visit the same day.

Reservations must be made on the official website. During this period, the Tower will be open at usual times, from 9 a.m. to 12:45 a.m. (last entry at midnight).

During the Olympic Games: access is maintained with some exceptions

During the Games, the tour Eiffel will welcome its visitors every day except July 14 and 26 due to the festivities and Olympic Games opening ceremony. Sports competitions at the foot of the tower will have no impact on visits. Hours remain unchanged: 9 a.m. to 12:45 a.m. (last entry at midnight). The prices for visiting the Eiffel Tower are as follows: to access the summit by elevator, adults pay €35.30, young people from 12 to 24 years old €17.70, and children from 4 to 11 years old €8.90 . To go up to the top using the stairs and elevator, the price is €26.90 for adults, €13.50 for young people aged 12 to 24, and €6.80 for children aged 4 at the age of 11. Elevator access to the second floor costs €22.60 for adults, €11.30 for young people aged 12 to 24, and €8.90 for children aged 4 to 11. Finally, for those who prefer the stairs to the second floor, the price is €14.20 for adults, €7.10 for young people aged 12 to 24, and €6.80 for children aged 4 to 11 years old. Children under 4 years old have free access.
