Tournefeuille. A Music Festival without rain

Last Friday, it was under a blue sky that the city came alive from the start of the evening, for the music festival. The Tournefeuillaises and Tournefeuillais came in large numbers, with family or friends, to attend the various musical performances which took place in most places in the city center between 7 p.m. and midnight.

Despite the weather gradually becoming cloudy, the rain spared the Music Festival, to the great joy of the Tournefeuillais. Thus, along the streets, music lovers or simple walkers were able to stroll all evening to different rhythms, ranging from Latin American music to alternative RnB, from dancefloor to urban jazz, or even from rap to French or Irish songs. .

The youth scene, established in the archipelago, was always full, which was the pride and happiness of budding artists. Finally, the different sections of the municipal artistic education school were able to delight parents and walkers with current music, guitar ensembles, a saxophone ensemble, piano pieces played with four hands and an ephemeral orchestra which delighted everyone with his classic and Beatles medley. “I went everywhere, it was very varied,” confides a young Tournefeuillaise. “I particularly liked the Archipelago scene and the town hall scene. There was a good atmosphere.”
