Marseillan – Handi Thau Access raised awareness among fifth grade students about disabled sports

This Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Pierre Deley college gymnasium in Marseillan, the Handi Thau Access association came to raise awareness among fifth-grade students about disabled sport.

Robert and Pascale Ahullo, creators and presidents of the Marseille association, are involved every day in this association that brings hope for many able-bodied people with disabilities.

The city of Marseillan, donations, memberships allow the association to purchase suitable equipment (2 push bikes, 1 tandem, 1 hand bike, 1 electric striker and soon an electric mountain bike) which they lend. It was over 4 workshops that the middle school students were able to live for a moment in the shoes of a mobile or visual handicap.

On the pitch, Jean-Felix Boudou, disabled sports ambassador for the city of Agde, passionately runs the wheelchair basketball workshop.

In armchair table tennis, Christophe Garcia, an involved and enthusiastic player, accompanies the children. Pascale Ahullo, discreet and radiant, guides the middle school students on a blind course. It is on a Handbike course that we find Robert, caring and satisfied.

The association is present within the Accessibility Commissions of the cities of Marseillan and Sète and the Intercommunal Commission for Accessibility.

They have plans in their heads, joy to spare and a desire to live each moment to the fullest.

If you want to join them or join, whether you have a disability or not, you are welcome!
