After the successes of “Carnival of the Animals…” and “PETROUCHKA or Holubichka’s Choice”, Émilie Lalande adapts Prokofiev’s masterpiece “Peter and the Wolf” into a dance version. A vibrant and ingenious show which gives pride of place to first choreographic and musical discoveries.

Conte musical intemporel, Pierre and the Wolf rocked
generations of children. The transverse flute personifying the bird, the
oboe the duck or bassoon the grandfather, resonate with emotion in our
spirits. Émilie Lalande delivers her dance interpretation where each character
explores his own gestures. Sensitive to the issues of nature and ecology,
it offers the fable a new perspective, focused in particular on reuse
objects that become decor. We discover or rediscover with tenderness and
humor the courageous Pierre who faces the wolf, and with him we overcome the
childhood fears that make us grow.
