All summer, the Parthenay museum offers a program of activities linked to its collections, the temporary exhibition on the theme of sport or even local events, without forgetting its participatory archaeological collections site.

As for activities, around the permanent collections (like this introductory drawing workshop on Saturday June 29), seven themed guided tours will also be offered. In addition, around the exhibition There will be sport – Local history(s), a guided tour is scheduled every first Sunday of the month at 3 p.m. (July 7, August 4 and 1is september).

Other events are planned such as “Back to the Future” for 10-14 year olds on July 3 or the “Sport Architecture on July 19” conference.e century in Deux-Sèvres”, Sunday September 8 at 3 p.m.

During Flip (Parthenay International Fun Festival), the museum will be open every day except July 14. Tuesday July 16, Wednesday July 17 and Thursday July 18, a life-size game (limited gauge, by reservation) will be offered with the Qui que vite association.

A construction site for archaeological collections

On the occasion of the museum’s archaeological collections project, the City of Parthenay is launching a call for volunteers to participate in this participatory project from August 5 to 16, under conditions to be detailed with the museum.
