The Bonjours Groupe Présence 30 association celebrated its fiftieth anniversary at the Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie multipurpose room on June 19.
On this occasion Olivier Gibelin, president of Bonjours Groupe Présence 30, thanked the field staff, administrative staff, administrators, volunteers and elected officials. Olivier Gibelin was accompanied by Yvon Bonzi, mayor of Saint Quentin, Madeleine Martinez administrator Bonjours Groupe Présence 30 and deputy mayor of Saint Quentin la Poterie and Bernard Contini, member of the board of directors of Bonjours Groupe Présence 30.
Olivier Gibelin presented the range of services and paid tribute to the behind-the-scenes women and men involved daily with the Gardois. Currently 300 permanent contracts are available within the network. To cope with recruitment difficulties, a home university will soon be created.
Long service medals and retirements
Two labor medals as well as a bouquet were presented to Patricia Giovannini, Home Help for over 30 years.
To celebrate their retirement, bouquets of flowers were also given to Bernadette Calais, who was a worker at Domicile, and to Véronique Sorbier, who was a cook at the Bonjours Groupe Présence 30 autonomy residence, located in Saint- Quentin-la-Poterie.
Yvon Bonzi congratulated the network for its pioneering status in the personal services sector, with its 1,600 employees and 10,000 people supported. He underlined the importance of the network’s services which have met the needs of Gardois for 50 years.
The town hall and the socio-cultural center were praised for making the room available, as well as the collaborators, people assisted, families, elected officials, administrators, volunteers and partners present during this day, with whom this fiftieth anniversary was celebrated.
