The kick-off of the 10th edition approach. This Thursday June 20 at 5 p.m. opens on festival Montauban in Scenes in the Jardin des Plantes of the Cité d’Ingres.
Three artists expected
To officially launch hostilities, three male singers are expected on the Montalban scene. From 7 p.m.festival-goers fans of rap music will have the chance to see it happen Cow. First known by its title “Sequence shot“, released in 2020, then notably that of “Get Taka“, a diamond-certified single in 2022, it will bring all its freshness to the Cité d’Ingres.
The public will then see the rapper perform Heuss l’Enfoiré, from 9 p.m.. “With his writing full of pop references and sprinkled with caustic, even sometimes cynical, humor, he is one of the most promising artists of his generation,” enthuses the organizers of Montauban en Scènes. Author of the titles “Moulaga”, “Khapta” or “Aristocrate”, he has (already) counted hundreds of millions of views since 2019.
Around 10 p.m.it will be the turn ofHamza to “set fire” to the Jardin des Plantes. Originally from Belgium, he has become essential on the French rap scene. With his latest album “Sincerely”, released in 2023 and soon to be certified double platinum, sold over 150,000 copiesthe 29-year-old artist will come to close the first evening of the Montalban festival.
