A 17-year-old boy remains in critical condition in hospital after being injured with a stab in the Montreal-North borough.

According to initial information from the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM), a conflict has degenerated between several people in connection with a probable bicycle theft.

A man then allegedly inflicted several upper body injuries on the victim.

The incident occurred on rue Pelletier, near boulevard Henri-Bourassa.

Police have not made any arrests at this time.
