To prepare for this new Top 14 season, LOU has signed 4 new recruits in recent days. Félix Lambey, Alfred Parisien and Mickaël Guillard have joined the Lyon squad.

At the end of a complicated season where LOU had to play to stay in the Top 14, the Lyon club recorded the arrival of four reinforcements for the 2024-2025 season.

Tomás Lavanini, the Argentinian from ASM, has signed with LOU until 2026. The 31-year-old second row has been playing for the Auvergne club since 2021.

The promising youngster Beka Shvangiradze has also set down his suitcases between Rhône and Saône. The 22-year-old Georgian Golgoth (1m91, 100kg) was playing in the Pro D2 with Stade Aurillacois Cantal.

A little experience was added to the Lyon squad thanks to the signing of Sam Matavesi (32 years old). Champion of England with Northampton Saints and champion of France with Stade Toulouse, the hooker and Fijian international has signed with Lyon for the next 2 seasons.

Finally, well known in the region, Steeve Blanc-Mappaz arrives from Grenoble. The former FCG captain has signed up for Lyon for next season.
