It’s hard to know how long the trip takes. Hours, days, maybe more. One thing is certain, this is the terminus. The final stopover where everyone ends up one day or another.
Like an eternity of traveling across vast expanses of salt water and then, suddenly, this sign of life in the distance. The abundant flora adorns a background from which a white expanse stands out in striking contrast. You would swear it was lit by ramps of spotlights, only the sun gives it its colors. No celestial atmosphere, no decor of cottony clouds. Everything is ultimately just beach, the fine sand that delimits it perhaps comes from all the hourglasses that have come to break there, but that has no importance.
