On the occasion of the celebration of the Music Festival, the Cervantès Institute, as part of the 16th edition of the musical program Cervantès en Route, which it carries out in collaboration with the AIE (Society of Performing Artists of Spain), through its AIEnRUTA-Artistas program, presents the group Fillas de Cassandra.

He begins a tour in Morocco. He will play from June 24 to 29 in several cities: Tangier (June 24), Tetouan (June 25), Fez (June 27), Casablanca (June 28) and Marrakech (June 29). Sara Faro (vocals and percussion) and María SOA (vocals, percussion and piano), these members of the group, have managed to export Galician music beyond the borders of the region thanks to their talent. Now they arrive in Morocco with the Cervantes Institute, which saw in them a musical proposal that corresponds to the institution’s efforts to bring Spanish culture closer to the Moroccan public. The duo presents a revolutionary and innovative proposal, merging Galician folklore with traditional instruments, such as the tambourine, and electronic music. Likewise, a key element of their artistic work, which should undoubtedly be highlighted, is the demanding nature of their lyrics, which seek to free women from the social conditioning that they have carried on their backs for so many years. years. On stage during this tour, Sara and María will be accompanied by musicians Marina Vidal and Tania Caamaño.
