A terrible road accident this Sunday evening. A motorcyclist violently collided with agricultural machinery in the town of Larra, west of Toulouse. The victim, a young man in his twenties, collided with a tractor. “The motorcycle was still stuck under the machine,” said a witness on site shortly before 8 p.m. In the nearby field, a combine harvester was making cuts at the end of the Sunday day.

The tragedy occurred shortly before 7 p.m., at a place called Bando la Cordo. The SDIS firefighters were mobilized with five engines and a dozen personnel, as well as the gendarmes. A SAMU 31 helicopter arrived before 7:30 p.m. to take care of the victim.
But “despite the combined action of the firefighters and the SAMU, the motorcyclist was declared deceased” specified the firefighters. The driver of the agricultural machine, in a state of shock, was treated by emergency services. The gendarmerie opened an investigation.
