Eric Grand becomes Orange director for the regions Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Normandy and Center-Val de Loire. He succeeds Jean-Marc Escalettes, in position since May 2022, appointed technical and information system director on March 1.

His appointment takes effect on May 1, 2024. “As such, he ensures the operations management Orange in the Great West and ensures the implementation of the human resources policy throughout this territory, all entities combined, i.e. around 15,000 employees“, specifies the operator.

Aged 48, graduated from IMT Atlantique (ex-Télécom Bretagne) in 1997, he also followed a leadership course at Essec and INSEAD in 2015 and 2018. He began his career in submarine cables at Alcatel before joining Orange ( ex-France Télécom) in 2003.

Since then, Eric Grand has held numerous managerial positions within the group in the field of networks in France and internationally. He worked in the south-east (Nîmes, Marseille and Avignon), Vietnam, Reunion and the West (Laval) before joining Rennes last October to take up the position of Networks Director.

As Orange director, he will be Orange’s representative in Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Normandy and Centre-Val de Loire. He will manage Orange operations in the Greater West.

His mission will be to maintain Orange’s leadership in telecommunications networks, to manage the modernization of Very High Speed ​​networks on fixed (fiber) and mobile (5G), as well as to develop economic, social and societal performance. of Orange in the territory.
