Haute-Savoie: Tickets for the Biathlon World Cup are now on sale

From December 19 to 22, Le Grand-Bornand will host a stage of the Biathlon World Cup; tickets are now on sale.

After having already hosted several stages of the Biathlon World Cup, notably in 2022, Le Grand-Bornand will once again be one of the host resorts for this major sporting event. 75,000 tickets are therefore on sale to allow the general public to attend various events, including the sprint, pursuits and mass starts, for women and men.

A two-stage ticketing system

This year, the ticket office will open in two stages, with the first sale starting on Tuesday, September 17, including only the four-day pass, available at a price of 205 euros in the grandstand and 91 euros in the track area. The second sale will take place on Tuesday, September 24, this time offering tickets for the day, or by event.

On the program, official training sessions for women and men from Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 December, followed by the men’s sprint on Thursday 19 December, and the women’s sprint on Friday 20 December. The weekend will consist of pursuits, organized on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. for the men and 2:45 p.m. for the women, then mass starts on Sunday at the same times.

An event that will feature the “stars of biathlon”, including Julia Simon (quadruple 2024 world champion and winner of the 2022-2023 World Cup general classification), Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (triple 2024 world champion and Olympic champion in the mass start in Beijing in 2022), and Quentin Fillon-Maillet (double 2024 world champion, double Olympic champion in the individual and pursuit in Beijing 2022, and winner of the 2022 World Cup general classification). Le Grand-Bornand will host a stage again in 2025.
