Saturday December 28 was a day of celebration in Laissac. The union of Laissagais traders and craftsmen, with the active participation of the Laissac bicycle club, the library, the town hall and the support of the tourist office, had put together a fairly dense day of activities.

The day started with the elves’ round: a family bike ride around the village, which ended at the chalet with a mulled wine offered by the merchants and musically animated by Nicolas Dondrille. This friendly time, open to all, brought together many people, delighted to share a warm moment to the sound of the accordion and under a radiant sun. In the afternoon, a small group of children benefited from the lessons of the Charabia company through a shadow theater discovery workshop while other children enjoyed reading stories organized by the library. Everyone then gathered to enjoy a snack before attending the “télécharabia” shadow theater show performed by the Charabia company. It was an opportunity for budding artists to apply the concepts acquired during the workshop and to exercise their talent at the start of the performance.

In addition, all day long, the magician Loktan wandered through the shops and streets of the village to perform magic tricks under the surprised and amused gaze of passers-by. He even went to the assisted living facility to entertain and delight the residents.

This intense and varied program allowed everyone to experience the Christmas spirit during a day full of surprises and discoveries.
