Devolver Digital teases 5 secret games planned for 2025, it looks promising | Xbox

Over the years, Devolver Digital has created a reputation as an excellent publisher by unearthing dozens of high-quality independent games, while taking care to acquire studios behind great games, such as Croteam (The Talos Principle), Nerial (Reigns) or System Era Softworks (Astroneer). To start the year off right, the company has just teased a large part of the projects that will see the light of day in 2025.

Devolver Digital teases its plans for 2025

If we have already known for several months some of the projects that will see the light of day during 2025, Devolver Digital has just teased many others on X, some of which are very intriguing.

  • A hilarious and brutal VR game.
  • A precision platformer from a developer we’ve worked with before, where guns are crucial in more ways than one.
  • A psychedelic co-op FPS that mixes fast-paced action with a fetch mission gameplay loop and a touch of intentional jank.
  • An ultra-addicting roguelite that we can’t say more about. He’s got guts.
  • A new entry in an ingenious “creating your own story” series.
  • An incredible expansion of a great, very great success.
  • Probably more games, but we need to sign them before we can brag about them.

Like many other games from the publisher, we can expect that not all of them will be available on Xbox. As for VR gaming, it’s even safe.

In addition to these teased projects, Devolver Digital also gave a quick reminder of those we already knew about.

  • The Talos Principle: Reawakened is much more than a remaster of Croteam’s modern classic.
  • Possessor(s) of Heart Machine is as beautiful as it is horrible. Follow @possessorsgame for more information.
  • Skeleton Crew’s Forestrike is a martial arts roguelite that lets you try out each combat sequence as much as you want before attempting to defeat your enemies.
  • Prepare to fall in love with Nate in Baby Steps, literally a walking simulator from the creators of Ape Out and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.
  • Stick It to the Stickman from Free Lives takes late capitalism and corporate takeovers to another level.
  • Skate Story is a stunning audio-visual feast with many charming characters roaming the underworld.

The publisher should reveal more about all these games throughout the year, without forgetting that a Devolver Direct should logically take place during the month of June.
