Since the middle of the week, the weather has been doing what it wants, and we no longer know where to turn. After a windy episode, freezing rains and a spectacular mild spell, Paris and Île-de-France must prepare for a new and unpleasant climatic hazard: the storm Florianewhich “will circulate quickly, but intensely over the northern half of the country”, warns Météo-France.
Orange alert until Tuesday
Gusts rising to more than 100 km/h, even 130 km/h being announced, the meteorological institute has just triggered orange vigilance for strong winds in our region. She's supposed to run until tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m.
Weather specialist Guillaume Séchet specifies that a “broad band going from the Pays de la Loire to the northern borders via the Paris region will experience gusts of up to 110km/h locally”.
On the mercury side, a relative mildness for the season will mark the day on Monday, with the expected temperatures ranging between 11°C for the maximum (in the morning) and 7°C for the minimum (in the evening). The next day, the weather will remain choppy, with winds rising to 50 km/h, and temperatures not exceeding 6°C.
