Adelaide Lopez-Watcher started playing guitar at the age of 6 ans. She’s a child of the ball. His father, Eric Lopez, is a guitar teacher at conservatoire from Vire and her mother, Marie-Ange Watcher is cello teacherin this same establishment. “Even before her birth, she was immersed in a musical universe,” confirms her father. Very proud that his daughter is continuing the adventure.

Regular practice

If talent is an invaluable asset, regular practice, perseverance is essential to remain at the best level. She still works intensely at home, under the guidance of her father.

I have a regular practice of 2 hours a day on the guitar, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. And one hour of practice on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Tuesday being my day off

Clarinet and dance

A high level of interpretation

The young and talented Adelaide, 10 years old, won two medals silver at the Guitar Olympiad, which took place in Volos, Greecelast August. An international event created under the aegis of UNESCO and bringing together no less than 120 countries.

“I chose to perform a classic piece: Characteristic Dance, by Cuban composer Léon Brouwer,” explains Adélaïde. She competed in the child category.
