In the tough with 12 defeats in their last 15 matches, the Warriors raised their heads last night by overcoming the Suns at the end of money time. (109-105) Already very good the day before against the Clippers, Jonathan Kuminga (34 points) carried his own.

Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant take turns well, Stephen Curry the magician
Still deprived of Devin Booker, the Suns still have the luxury of relying on two All-Stars to carry their attack. That’s good, Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant are having a good day. The back, often criticized in recent months, did the job in the first half, between racket attack and long-distance missile. While KD was rested in the second quarter, it was Beal who, helped by the role players, put Phoenix on the right track. With his 22 points at the break, he started perfectly but he will be less inspired after returning from the locker room and will sink like his team in money time.
Opposite, Golden State does not capitulate despite a blow to the head. Draymond Green plays sniper for a night while his team is struggling, Jonathan Kuminga quickly gets into his match with 10 points in 5 minutes. Little nugget of the evening, this buzzer beater from Stephen Curry just before half-time, definitely not to be tested at home.
Crafty, clutch, and soooo Steph

The Jonathan Kuminga tornado hit the Suns head-on
We left him the day before with a career record against the Clippers and Jonathan Kuminga still had fuel to hit the cactus. As said above, the power forward quickly started the fifth in this match. A true locomotive of the Warriors, even taking the spotlight from Stephen Curry, he continued to harass the Suns’ racket, taking advantage of his size advantage several times to punish, when he wasn’t just going to smash everything in the circle. Another 34 points for JK, who again equals his personal best, all back-to-back.
The Dubs’ luxury sixth man was absolutely everywhere this evening, giving himself in defense against Kevin Durant, clutching well at the end of the match with 13 of his 34 points in money time. It is also he who makes the throw which ends all suspense. A very big match for Kuminga which confirms his current great form.
Phoenix, a money time to (very) quickly forget
Suns fans may have big regrets given the end of their team’s match (not forgetting the injury to Royce O’Neale). Phoenix still led by 9 points 6 minutes from the end of the game. Kevin Durant was on target, the Okogie or Dunn soldiers present, there was reason to hope. And then came this black hole in attack with 0 points scored for… a little less than 5 minutes. Enough to completely relaunch the Dubs, carried by a confident Kuminga. It’s impossible not to talk about the lost balls too, including 3 for Kevin Durant alone in key moments. Bradley Beal also did not shine with his decision-making at the end of the match, like this last 2-point shot while his team was trailing by… 3 lengths. Devin Booker missed in the clutch and it was Phoenix who passed with a negative result when he woke up while Golden State was breathing a little easier.
