Lormes. La ReFeRe: A unique universe to transmit. Created by the artist Alain Fraval and bequeathed in 2019 to the Alter Ego Association, the ReFeRe (Reunited Rail Network) is a unique work, composed of seven interconnected models on a scale of 1/87 e . This monumental project requires an exhibition space of at least 150 m² and optimal conservation conditions. Neither raw art nor reproduction, this creation is a unique art, driven by an original history and aesthetic.
Each model is accompanied by a story written by its creator, compiled in as many books as there are islands, and enriched with audio recordings available online or in MP3 for visitors. Jö/ELLE Bailly, president of Alter Ego, also invented comments during the visits, but the work leaves room for other interpretations, always anchored in the vision of Alain Fraval.
Following the death of the artist in 2021 and the cessation of activity of Alter Ego, Jö/ELLE is looking for a buyer capable of promoting this heritage. The transfer includes the site www.refere.xyz, the works, the recordings, as well as several films.
