At 3m high, it apparently has the deepest bowl in Belgium: the Tour & Taxis skatepark was inaugurated on June 5th at the Quai des Matériaux. While the smooth concrete seems to satisfy fans of skateboarding, some modules are not unanimous in the small world of skateboarding. The new site is criticized for having a bowl that is too deep and poorly proportioned modules. But the Flemish YouTuber Sachi, 42,300 subscribers, does not share the same opinion. He even calls himself “a big fan” of this new equipment in his recent video, which has accumulated nearly 14,000 views in 3 days. “Because until now Brussels only had a really crappy skatepark”, says Samuel de Graef, referring to the Ursulines concrete. They are out of proportion,” judges the skateboarder. “But it’s a lot of fun to gain a lot of speed, to follow certain lines, because there are a lot of small objects that you can reach.” Sachi especially seems to be a big fan of the famous bowl.
