The Miss Normandy election took place this Saturday, June 29, in Alençon. Eleven women tried to win the title, finally obtained by Lucile Lecellier, who lives in Sainte-Cécile.

Lucile Lecellier was elected Miss Normandy 2024 this Saturday, June 29 at the Anova exhibition center in Alençon. She succeeds Wissem Morel, who was one of the 15 semi-finalists in the Miss France competition last December.

After having already tried the competition in 2021, Lucile finally won the crown this year. She received it from the hands of Ève Gilles, current Miss France. The Norman representative now intends to succeed her.

Committed to the fight against domestic violence

At 26, the candidate who wore the number 2 during the competition lives in Sainte-Cécile, near Villedieu-les-Poêles in Manche. She is training to become a specialist educator, with the aim of working later in the child protection sector.

La Manchoise describes herself as a woman who “likes simple things”, “respectful” and full of authenticity.

“The role of Miss France in contemporary society, I see it as that of a representative, but also of a spokesperson,” she explained during her portrait.

One of the causes close to her heart and which she intends to take to the Miss France competition at the end of the year is the fight against domestic and intra-family violence.

There were eleven of them taking part in the election. Among them, Juliette Lemeltier, 22 years old and originally from Calvados, was elected first runner-up of the competition. The 24-year-old Chloé Levallois from Manche received the title of second runner-up.
