Nouvelle Hydre editions at Japan Expo, June 29, 2024

As we approach the 23rd edition of Japan Expoit’s the turn of the editions New Hydra to confirm their presence and reveal the festivities that await visitors at their stand.

The editor will leave his luggage in Hall 5A, in space A200. Authors Yoann Le Scoul (Bravest Journey) et Eruthoth (Child of the Abyss ; Obara: Chronicles of the Abyss) will be present for the four days of the festival to sign their books, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

New Hydra will offer the various titles from its catalog, including Flowers for Vincent from Cherriuki, JagWars of Eudetenis, Skilled Fast by Hachin, or even the recent You haven’t changed, Umino senpai by Nao Yazawa. Each purchase will give access to goodies, with the following distribution:

– For 1 manga purchased: 1 bookmark of your choice offered

– For 2 mangas purchased: 1 A3 poster of your choice offered

– For the 2 volumes of Flowers For Vincent purchased: 1 postcard from the series offered

– For the Child of the Abyss trilogy purchased: 1 coaster from the series offered

– For the Bravest Journey trilogy purchased: 1 coaster from the series offered

– For 3 volumes of JagWars purchased: 1 free manga ex-libris

– For 3 mangas purchased including You haven’t changed, Umino senpai: 1 free birthday tote bag

As activities, Yoann Le Scoul will present the playable demo of the video game based on his manga Bravest Journet, on Game Boy Color. Finally, since Nouvelle Hydre is a publisher of original creations, budding mangakas will be able to talk with Mahmoud Larguem, the editorial director, to present their projects. To do this, you will have to show up in the morning to register for one of the 20-minute slots that will take place every day from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., then from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

As a reminder, Japan Expo will be held from July 11 to 14, as usual at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte.
