Cotentin. Concert, country dancing, hiking: a festive weekend in this town!

From 7:30 p.m. this Saturday June 29, 2024the Youth club d’Appeville (Manche) will celebrate the Saint Jean.

Time to freshen up and grab a bite to eat, at 8 p.m., the dancers from NS Country will take to the track in rhythm to introduce you to their favorite discipline.

The opportunity to show that country is neither cheesy nor boring, but too nice and friendly. We dance to Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Shania Twain, among others. We will invite people onto the floor for an introduction to some very simple, basic steps so that they can join us throughout the evening.

At 9 p.m., Les Fils de Juno will take the stage to perform a few covers and, above all, the titles of their premier album released last year.

Both festive and poetic, their country folk with multiple influences, takes you on the paths of life, memories and the future.

Around 11 p.m., they will accompany the conflagration of the traditional fire of Midsummer.

The restaurant and refreshment bar will remain open throughout the evening. And entry is free and free, as is the introduction to dance.

Sunday morning, by reservation, from 9:30 a.m., a guided hike from 6 km.

On the way back, it will be time to settle down in the tents for a country lunch : “You have to bring your picnicand its cutlery of course. We offer the possibility of grilling on site, the refreshment bar will also be open,” recalls Laetitia Legallois.
