The fourth edition of the “Chants Libres” festival, which brings together professional choirs, amateur choirs, masters and children’s choirs, continues this Sunday.

This festival organized by the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation promotes singing while promoting its benefits. Joël Suhubiette, conductor of the Éléments choir: “Concerts, surges, musical workshops… We have imagined a wide variety of formats to show the variety of choral singing and democratize it. The 2024 edition of Chants libres wants to be more than ever a time of discovery and exchange with the same desire to meet everyone, especially audiences far from cultural venues and disadvantaged or vulnerable people. It is in this spirit that the Foundation asked the different artists to imagine multiple forms of sharing (large concerts, surges, musical moments, workshops, etc.) and to go outside the traditional concert halls to meet the public in heritage sites, living or nature spaces, hospitals and nursing homes.”

This Sunday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the courtyard of the Ingres Bourdelle Museum, Christopher Gibert and a few singers from Dulci Jubilo will offer a discovery workshop “Come and Sing”. Followed at 5 p.m. by the Luminous Night #3 concert by the Dulci Jubilo choir.

The concerts are free.
