After 17 years, TMZ reports that the pop star, who paid $10,000 every two weeks to the father of her two boys, will make her final contribution on Friday.

For a while, Kevin Federline received $40,000 a month from the singer for the children’s education, as they lived with him full-time. Child support increased to $20,000 when their eldest son, Sean Preston, turned 18 last year.

The exes, who divorced in 2007, also have son Jayden James, who turned 18 in September. Kevin Federline’s lawyer told the magazine People that child support for Jayden James would continue until November, when he graduates from high school.

“Under California law, jurisdiction over child support continues until the minor child reaches age 18, or if, on his or her 18th birthday, he or she has not yet obtained his or her high school diploma, it continues until he graduates from high school, but in no case later than his 19th birthday,” he said.

Additionally, it has been reported that Britney Spears is spending time with her youngest son after years of estrangement. People reports that the singer recently reunited with Jayden James, who visited his mother in Los Angeles.
