Four prizes were awarded at the end of the thriller fair, “Sang d'encre” which is taking place this weekend at the Manège in Vienne, the most prestigious of which is the Grand Prix Sang d'encre/City of Vienne which expired to Laurent Guillaume.

This is the plot of the noir novel of nearly 500 pages, “Les Dames de Guerre” which won, at the Manège hall in Vienna on Saturday November 23, the Sang d’encre/City of Vienne prize, the author of which is Laurent Guillaume.

A prize which had a particular density this year since this crime fiction festival which opened its doors on Saturday November 23 in the morning to close them tomorrow, Sunday November 24 in the evening, is celebrating its thirty springs this year.
A festival which is holding up well despite competition which has intensified in recent years.
The second winner to receive the statuette created by the high school students of the Galilée high school in Vienna for the Bubbles of Blood of Ink prize is Jordi Feverauthor of the graphic novel, “I am their silence”: the story of a young and brilliant psychiatrist who is reluctant to answer Dr. Llull’s questions. However, she has no other choice but to collaborate in the hope of recovering her license and practicing her profession again…
In the absence of the author, Fabrice Matron from the “Bulles de Vienne” bookstore received the precious trophy.
The jury which voted on this comic gathered no less than 600 votes.
Two other prizes were awarded on the Manège stage, which was also decorated as a crime scene. The first is the High School Students' Prize awarded by a jury of twelve students who chose Paul Colize for his novel “Before God and Men”.
Finally, the Media Library readers’ prize, “Drops of Blood of Ink” which aims to highlight emerging authors (550 voters!) crowned the work of Bguarantee Pascal, “Little Red”.
This crime fiction show continues on Sunday, November 24. For its thirty candles, this year it brings together more than fifty authors of dark novels…
