It was during the summer of 2012 that the “Taka Danser” association took off in Saint-Jory after having been known under the name “Le Dancing”. Johanna Anglade, teacher, already punctuated the lessons with all the passion that drives her. Jean-Paul Lacampagne managed the association with a masterful hand, Josiane Gardes had the laugh that characterizes her so well. Twelve years later, this trio is more than present in the life of the association! Johanna has redoubled her energy to distill all her knowledge during ballroom dancing, rock and salsa classes, but also Lady Styling. Josiane is always present and expected at all events. Jean-Paul is still there even if he only holds the position of honorary president.
He remains an example and a reference for all dancers who seek the slightest advice whenever they can. During the summer of 2022, a handover took place with the new office. Lisa Midavaine was appointed president, accompanied by Sandrine Balmigere, as secretary and Julien Antich, as treasurer.
Theme: the Olympics
The association is organizing a dance evening on Saturday June 1st at the rural center for its end-of-year evening. An exceptional evening on the theme of the Olympic Games.
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Olympic Games without going all the way to Paris. On the program: 7:30 p.m., meal with M’Traiteur.
On the menu: penne salad with dried tomatoes – zucchini tagliatelle with cumin and country ham – slices of roast pork – turkey skewers with spices – side dishes sauces and chips – cheeses – chocolate cake – red fruit panna cotta (produced products to be changed depending on the season and the market). 9 p.m.: Rock Salsa Latin Ballroom Dance party / with DJ Ren.
Student show
During the evening, the Taka-Danser students will perform their show on the theme of the Olympic Games “dance returns the Olympics”.
You will be able to attend demonstrations of salsa on the theme of ball games, quick step on the theme of tennis, cha-cha on the theme of synchronized swimming, jive on the theme of boxing.
