A 66-year-old paedophile who was a school headmaster in northern Britain has been sentenced to 17 years in prison, according to the Daily Mail.

Neil Foden was found guilty of 19 charges involving four teenage girls between 2019 and 2023 after a trial in May.

Last year, the 60-year-old was arrested at his workplace. A victim said he drove her to a secluded area before assaulting her. The crimes came to light after a teenage girl showed her friends a photo with Neil Foden and a sexual text message.

Arrogance

Sentencing on Monday, Judge Rhys Rowlands said Foden was “determined” to satisfy his perverse fetishistic desires.

He described Foden as a “domineering” and “explosive” man who was admired by many but was “a man who managed to hide a terrible secret, a terrible problem in your character, namely your sexual obsession with young teenage girls”.

The magistrate deplored the arrogance of the director who believed that no one would stand up to him. The pedophile had a reputation as an authoritarian man.

“It is clear that you have no remorse,” the judge said. “You have not shown an ounce of contrition for what you have done and you have no idea of the harm you have caused both the victims and their families.”

Neil Foden started working as a teacher in 1979. He later became headmaster of the educational establishment located at Friars, one of the most prestigious schools in North West Wales, which has almost 1,200 pupils.
