Volunteers from the Saint-Jory blood donors association and its president, Sindy Massol-Visconti greet the 85 people, including 8 new donors, who came on Thursday, December 26 to offer their blood. Ryan, who recently turned 18, made his first donation.
Sindy Massol-Visconti: “A huge thank you to all the blood donors who mobilized with so much generosity during this festive period! Thanks to you, the appeal launched by the French Blood Establishment (EFS) was heard. This outpouring of generosity is a real breath of hope for the sick. Despite the wait, you have shown patience and kindness, we are infinitely grateful to you.
The association salutes Jeannette who, once again, delighted everyone with a basket of donuts which delighted the taste buds and enriched the gourmet plates offered by the volunteers.
This collection allows the EFS to donate the sum of €850 to “Enfance Cancer Santé *”.
*Operation “your blood counts double: From December 16 to 29, the EFS donated €1 per donor presented to the Enfance Cancer Santé association.
2025 collection schedule: Friday February 28, Friday May 16, Wednesday July 16, Monday October 6 and Friday December 26.
