The Gayan Association has, once again, brought the village along with it to bring joy and joy of living for three days. This new edition demonstrated the involvement of its members and conscripts to renew the exercise in order to maintain the tradition of local festivals.
It all starts on Friday with a meal between Gayanese, like a neighbors’ celebration at the municipal level. A big family reunion to get together and reconnect in a society that really needs it. Time to equip ourselves with torches and the procession of lights made its way through the streets to the site of the Saint-Jean bonfire where the fireworks were also set off.
Saturday is dedicated to games, pétanque for all, entertainment for children and pony rides with Prescilia ranch. The festivities traditionally mark a break at the end of the afternoon dedicated to the memory of the fallen with a mass in the Saint Jean-Baptiste church and a particularly well-attended ceremony at the war memorial, as if it were always necessary to remember the sacrifice of the soldiers who gave their lives so that today the population can freely celebrate. Everyone then went to the town hall square where the exhibitors had made a special effort to give new momentum to the gourmet market despite the rain that had invited itself. Even if it was necessary to take shelter to eat to the sound of the Marque Brothers music, the evening continued with a ball hosted by the TNT podium.
On Sunday afternoon, it was the turn of the conscripts to mobilize the inhabitants one last time and encourage them to come and end these three days around a barbecue in an atmosphere provided by the groups Brown and Dusty and Malsana.
Disrespect
A short message to this wedding procession of about twenty cars driving through the streets of the village, all honking their horns, shouting and yelling from the open windows of the vehicles and passing twice during the minute of silence at the war memorial.
