According to a nutritionist, these three desserts from the bakery are the least caloric!

Summer is fast approaching, and with it, the desire to find a beautiful figure for future days at the beach. Although it is not easy to completely eliminate sugar from your diet, it is well known that certain cakes such as brownies, macaroons, millefeuille, tiramisu or even Paris-Brest are calorie bombs that should be banned. . But it is sometimes smarter to grab the dessert that catches your eye at the bakery rather than heading for a gourmet coffee made up of these little industrially produced treats full of additives which turn out to be much more calories. These three desserts found in traditional pastries are actually the least fatty.

Nutritionist Raphael Gruman introduces them to us in a video posted on Tiktok. Appearing gourmet and well-known in the French culinary landscape, these three pastries are actually those which are the least fattening due to their low calorie intake. First of all, the éclair, composed of a choux pastry and a pastry cream which are “not that sweet”, it allows you to indulge in moderation. Count around 200 calories for a chocolate éclair. Then, the nutritionist surprisingly announces the flan pastry, a dessert “which contains a lot of eggs, a little bit of sugar, it’s true”, but which “is not going to be too fatty”. In fact, flan contains only 130 calories per 100 grams, relatively few compared to other desserts. This relative lightness is mainly linked to its ingredients since the flan is mainly made from milk and eggs, much less rich in lipids than butter, the basis of many other desserts. Milk and eggs also provide a valuable source of protein and calcium.

The must, still according to the nutrition expert, “obviously remains fruit tarts”, especially raspberry tarts, which contain “very, very few calories as fruit” and “a lot of fiber”. As for “the dough that we will have underneath, it is less caloric and less sweet”. Apple pie, very popular with the French, has just over 200 calories.

To treat yourself without feeling guilty, turn to these three desserts favored by the nutritionist and be wary of appearances! And don’t forget that “homemade” in a version lower in sugar will always be better suited to your diet.
