The 2025 Cycling season promises to be intense and we can't wait to know if Tadej Pogacar will manage to go even further in his success. Winner 25 times in 2024, the Slovenian won the Tour de France, the Giro but also the World Championships and several Classics. Leaving only crumbs to his opponents, he announces himself as the number 1 favorite for the 2025 season. However, his competitors want to bring him down and in particular Primoz Roglic. His compatriot, victorious in his 4th Vuelta last September, would have a huge objective next year.
A Giro-Tour de France double for Roglic?
The Red Bull-BORA-hansgroghe rider could thus concentrate on the Giro d'Italia – Tour de France double in 2025. Thus, while his main objective remains the Tour de France, which he has never won yet and which he has not finished since 2020, Roglic could also try to get a second Vuelta in his career. Victorious in the Corsa Rosa in 2023, Roglic would like to bag a second Trofeo Senza Fine to his list of achievements. He could, therefore, arrive in great shape at the Tour de France, like Pogacar this year, to finally try to win the Grande Boucle in front of his compatriot and Jonas Vingegaard. Suffice to say that Roglic's program could be strong in 2025.
