The R962 managed by the Departmental Council of Mayenne
Since January 1, 2024, the old RN 162 which connects Le Lion d'Angers to Mayenne has been renamed to RD 962. The Departmental Councils of Mayenne and Maine-et-Loire have taken over management of this road, passing certain portions, including the Lion d'Angers – Laval part at 90km/h. One section was an exception, that in front of the Laval aerodrome, limited to 70 km/h. It then extended from the Thévalles roundabout to the restaurant Le Par Sécurité, before this recent modification.
