The Robert-Doisneau Cauvaldor social and cultural center in Biars-sur-Cère is renewing its “December rhymes with solidarity” operations this year. For these operations, of which there are three, the leaders of the service concerned will receive the deposit of donations during usual opening hours. The final deadline for submitting donations for the three operations is Friday, December 20, at the end of the day.
Solidarity in games: as part of its “Solidarity in games” operation, the toy library is repeating its collection of games and toys in good condition and/or new. The opportunity to please families in need by making space in the children's bedroom!
Solidarity Christmas card: make a card, a small text… The social center will make the link to send them to nursing homes, to people who are alone and/or far from their family. The cards must be put in an unsealed envelope with the possibility of leaving its address for possible future correspondence! Once your cards are made; you can place them in the central ballot box.
Solidarity children’s books: Do you have shelves full of books? The media library suggests that you do a little sorting as the Christmas holidays approach. Only children's books in very good condition will be accepted, meaning no mold, no stains, no damaged books… The center will then forward all donations to an association. The media library organizers reserve the right to refuse certain works.
