Having drawn three winning numbers on HotPickshe couldn’t believe it when he was told that his winnings had
already been sent. Andros Kyriacou, 62, sees his first winnings in the national lottery disappear. The baggage handler at Stansted Airport, reports The Mirror of December 2, 2024, had won 1,500 pounds at Euromillions on October 4.
Andros Kyriacou had submitted his application to the national lottery, but had not always received his winnings. By contacting the company, Andros was in shock when he learned that his winnings had already been sent, on October 8, 2024. The sixty-year-old, however, was not not at the end of its surprises.
Euromillions winner, someone cashed their check
Andros Kyriacou was over the moon when he found out he won the Euromillions. However, he couldn’t believe what was happening to him since he was first told that his money had already been sent. The frustration reached its highest point when he also learned that the check had been
collected via an app.
The Stansted airport employee does not intend to let this matter go by and give up on his 1,500 pounds. The sixty-year-old contacted the British media The Sun to shout from the rooftops that his winnings were stolen. He already has a theory as to who could have stolen his lottery winnings.
The Euromillions teams are not doing their job
The Euromillions winner is looking for the culprit of the theft of his winnings. He explained to the media The Sun that his misadventure could be an inside job. And for good reason, according to him, this is the first time that a lottery prize has been stolen.
Speaking to the newspaper The Sun of the Euromillions teams, Andros Kyriacou underlined: “They don’t respond, they don’t cooperate, they don’t do their job properly“. He then concluded that if this is not an inside job, then it’s the postman !
