Tour de France: D-2 before the start, Tadej Pogacar announces that he “had Covid”

Tadej Pogacar, the big favorite of the Tour de France, revealed this Thursday that he had “I covid them“ten days ago adding that he was now”fully recovered” two days before departure.

Pogacar experienced a double whammy during his altitude training at Isola 2000, between the Giro and the Tour de France. He had to leave his internship due to the death of his grandfather. Then he got covid-19.

I returned to Slovenia for my grandfather’s funeral“, explained the Slovenian at a press conference. “I thought it was important. Then I went back to the altitude training, but a few days later I got sick. That was about ten days ago..”

Pogacar, however, downplayed the impact of the infection.I recovered well. It wasn’t very serious. Covid isn’t very serious anymore. Especially if you’ve had it before, which I had. It was like a cold. I didn’t train for a whole day, then I did some rolling, and when I wasn’t sick anymore, I started rolling outside again.
