From Falardeau’s first short film, this scene gave birth to a line adored by many. Elvis Gratton is asked by a Frenchman if he is Canadian. What follows is an incredible monologue that has spanned the ages.

2. “I have a garage, a big garage.”
Elvis Gratton picks up someone who was hitchhiking in the first short film. When the person asks him what he does for a living, he answers this. A replica still repeated by several amateurs.

3. “Heille Méo, at the end… A talking tank!”
In this scene, Elvis and his brother-in-law Méo acquire a limousine… that talks. Several cult lines emerged from this moment when Elvis fights against the vehicle.

4. “I don’t want to lose my rocky mountains”
This line was said while the character was taking a photo shoot. He discusses federalism with the photographer. A true ode to Canada is then made.

5. “Because they have it, the Americans!”
Another cult line: the character praises the United States and the Americans whom he calls “Americans”.
