Guest of The secret box this Friday January 3 on France 3, Théo Curin was overcome by emotion when discovering images of his parents and his sister. He took the opportunity to send them a beautiful message and make them a promise.
Faustine Bollaert was at the head of a new issue of The secret box on France 3 this Friday, January 3, 2025. During each issue of this show, three guests relive strong moments in their lives through objects and receive testimonies of friendship and love from their loved ones thanks to short videos or songs. Two singers and a host were invited for this unique evening. Three generations formed by Michel Fusain, Lara Fabian and Théo Curin. The latter could not hide his emotion when discovering a touching video addressed to him.

Théo Curin warned at the start of the show that he was not a big fan of surprises. In The secret boxthe para-athlete and entertainer is served. After showing him the images of his first steps with his prostheses at the age of 7, Faustine Bollaert invites him to watch a video of her parents Dominique and Stéphanie and her sister Océane. Looking through photo albums, they remember that he “always been a clown“. His sister recalls that they had “a dog and cat relationship“which doesn’t stop him from telling him at the end of the subject to be”proud to be your sister“. His mother adds “Daily you carry me“: as soon as she faces a difficulty, she remembers how much her son fought and overcame ordeals and that gives her courage. As soon as I start something new, I’m afraid; every time I think of them and I tell myself that they weren’t afraid“.

Faustine Bollaert asks the swimmer if they often say “I love you” to each other as a family. “Sometimes I blame myself” explains the host of Slam then adding: “I thank them every day, but I should tell them I love you even more“For him, pride and modesty prevent him from being more expressive about his feelings towards those close to him.”I will try hard on this” he assures in conclusion.
