Wedding: Elodie and Sylvain

Wedding: Elodie and Sylvain
Wedding: Elodie and Sylvain

Saturday June 29, Elodie Quevy and Sylvain Maire united their destiny, in the town hall of Saint-Martin. It was with great emotion, in the presence of the two families and many friends, that the mutual consent of the young couple was received by the mayor of the town, Mickaël Goirot. Angélique, the bride’s sister, was her best man while the groom chose his eldest son, Kristopher.

Elodie, after working at the La Trincassaye nursing home in Langres, is now a waitress in her husband Sylvain’s restaurant, the Auberge du lac de Saint-Ciergues, which he has owned for 21 years. If they are the happy parents of their little Danael, born on April 30, 2021, Sylvain was proud to have his two grown children by his side, Kristopher (25 years old) and Kloé (17 years old). Due to their very demanding job, newlyweds love to take advantage of traveling whenever they have the possibility and opportunity. Martine Quevy, Elodie’s mother, living nearby in Saint-Ciergues, was present while Sylvain’s mother, Arlette Maire, living in Dampierre, was happy to marry the last and youngest of her seven children. For two years, the couple has lived in a pretty villa, on the heights of the town of Saint-Martin, which overlooks Lake La Mouche.

As they left the town hall, the newlyweds took their places in an old Citroën Méhari, leading a long procession behind them towards Dampierre for the religious ceremony. Then, they returned to the Auberge du lac de Saint-Ciergues for the reception before celebrating in the hamlet of Melville, in Saint-Martin.

Wishes of happiness to the newlyweds and congratulations to their parents.
