NovoSolis SA and NGL Cleaning Technology SA join forces for

For many years, the City of Nyon has been massively committed to the energy transition, with the ultimate objective of promoting the production of renewable energy and reducing CO2 emissions in the Nyon area. Created in autumn 2021, the company NovoSolis SA invests in photovoltaic installations on large roofs, thus maximizing production potential. Part of this production is self-consumed by the activities of the building hosting the installation, while the surplus is reinjected into the Nyon IS network for the benefit of Nyon residents.

NGL Cleaning Technology SA is a Swiss company specializing in the formulation of chemical products. Eager to use as much local energy as possible in its process, it approached NovoSolis SA to benefit from its expertise in the construction and operation of large-scale photovoltaic power plants. With this plant, NGL Cleaning Technology SA now benefits from a solar installation without any investment or maintenance costs. In addition, it benefits from advantageous rates for self-consumed solar electricity. Excess energy is reinjected into the SI Nyon electrical network and made available to Nyon residents, thus reinforcing the commitment to renewable energy.

Both NovoSolis SA and NGL Cleaning Technology SA are proud of the implementation of this solar power plant. With a power of 187 kWp, this installation covers a total area of 840m2, on the roof of NGL Technology, making it possible to produce 185,000 kWh per year, the equivalent of the consumption of 53 households.

Thanks to the common commitment of all partners, the solar potential in the Nyon region continues to be exploited, offering NovoSolis SA great prospects for new installations in the future.
