As the moving season approaches, tenants have a new tool to help them exercise their rights: a website allowing them to easily find information to help them in different situations .

The website, designed by the Regroupement of housing committees and tenant associations of Quebec (RCLALQ), was able to help people react to certain situations.

“We find information which is quite complete and which is also intended to be popularized so that it is as accessible as possible for tenants in Quebec. We will find all the information that tenants need to know their rights and, above all, know how to defend them,” explained Cédric Dussault, spokesperson for the RCLALQ, in an interview on LCN.

For the organization, it was important to rely on a practical approach, because we “don’t just need to know what the law is, but we also need to know what to do.” This is also what distinguishes this new tool from others like Éducaloi, according to Mr. Dussault.

The site is available to everyone via this link: https://locataire.info/.
