“AI that needs to be explained to me”, the Time podcast dedicated to AI

Every other Monday, our journalists accompany you into the constantly moving world of artificial intelligence. A free podcast in which you can also participate by sending your questions to [email protected]

Are robots invading media editorial offices in Switzerland? The recent deployment of generative artificial intelligence by Blick (property of the publisher Ringier, to which The weather owned until 2020) might suggest this. This assistant, entitled “Blicky AI”, can go so far as to contribute to the writing of an article.

Other well-established media also use similar software, whether to produce or translate texts, suggest titles, create images or offer readers functionalities such as reading articles. Although caution is required, editorial staff are taking a close interest in these technologies and are carrying out more and more experiments.
