This 22-year-old young man was driving a scooter when he hit a barrier overlooking a railway line in Asnières on Sunday at dawn.
A little earlier, he had been spotted, without a helmet, passing in front of a police crew between Asnières and Gennevilliers. Ignoring the orders of the police, he continued on his way to escape them, until this violent impact against a metal barrier. Thrown onto the railway tracks of line J of the Transilien, he was found unconscious by the police.
The latter “came to his aid and immediately alerted the firefighters”, indicated the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office on Sunday evening. The emergency services dispatched to the scene immediately transported him to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy, in absolute emergency.
Two investigations were opened on Sunday. One on the refusal to comply, entrusted to Territorial Security, the other, entrusted to the General Inspectorate of the National Police, to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy. Initial investigations revealed that there was no chase between the scooter, a TMax and the police vehicle. In addition to the rapid cessation of the two-tone on hierarchical order, video surveillance images showed a gap forming between the two vehicles.
