Faced with international tensions that are prevailing almost everywhere across the world, decisions are being taken by several countries to strengthen their defensive armada, in order to deal with possible clashes, or even conflicts on a larger scale. This is particularly the case for the Morocco !

Indeed, the Moroccan government has announced that it wants to invest massively in order to renew its military fleet. Recently, military aircraft have been purchased from the American side… F-16 Block 70/72 Viperto be precise. And in addition to this new equipment, Air Force pilots will also be able to count on the arrival of new equipment!

New equipment for Moroccan pilots

These planes are manufactured by the American giant, Lockheed Martinin South Carolina. They will arrive in Morocco by next January. They will be delivered with new AFE (Aircrew Fight Equipment)developed by Surviteca British company. Which has obtained approval for its new equipment. Very comprehensive, these new AFEs will allow pilots to be more comfortable.

This equipment will consist of a new flight jacket with a directly integrated life jacket. This will be supplemented by a lighter suit. This AFE will integrate perfectly with the ejection seat Martin Baker US18E as well as the pilots’ survival systems. An essential point, which ensures the safety of all… But also the comfort of the latter.

A thoughtful and considered design

Indeed, this new AFE is based on several principles, starting with that of advanced design. This equipment has been imagined, thought out and developed so that it integrates perfectly with new technology aircraft. Enough to improve safety therefore, but also comfort and therefore the general performance of fighter pilots.
