December is a very busy month. Look for the best gifts related to Santa Claus, prepare holiday meals. And then, the joy of spending good times with family. There is less time to read.
So this month I read 10 books including 6 novels, an excellent comic book, a humorous book, a children’s book and a cookbook. Favorite for the latest novelHubert Haddad and recommendations for those of Célestin de Meeus and of J.M. Coetzee.
The most read articles on my blog in December are:
1 – Literary return to school 2025, overview by publisher
2 – Can’t you see that I’m burning by Nathalie Rheims
3 – Such a long letter by Mariama Bâ
4 – Like footsteps in the snow Louise Erdrich
5 – The Atlantic Symphony d’Hubert Haddad
January 2025 will be marked by the start of the literary season with some highly anticipated readings
But also, a reading for The witches of literature who put Louise Erdrich in the spotlight in January. I have two titles in my To-Read Pile: The orphans’ picnic et Bingo Palace.
I will also try to participate in News Month
