This competition brought together more than 200 participants around the (re)discovery of the landscapes and municipalities of the region (Briatexte, Castelnau, Senouillac, Couffouleux, etc.). Through various workshops led by renowned notebookists, such as V. Desplanches, L. Perillat, I. Haas and O. Marcus, as well as network librarians, participants were able to learn or improve the art of travel diary. This medium, combining writing and drawing, invites you to capture lived moments, landscapes or even emotions felt during walks. The highlight of this edition was the drawn musical reading Chants de traverse. This original performance was able to harmoniously combine music and live illustration, captivating a large audience who came to the Montvalen association hall. Spectators praised the originality and poetry of this artistic moment.
And that’s not all! Carnets de voyage will return from the first half of 2025. On the program, new enriching workshops for young and old, a large retrospective exhibition of creations made during previous editions and a few surprises still kept secret.
In the meantime, the network’s media libraries continue to offer access to numerous travel diaries to extend the adventure. To borrow without moderation for inspiration or to dream of future escapades!
